Hi there! My name is Dr. Brenda O’Neil. I was born in Hollywood but raised between Wisconsin and Utah, and I have five brothers. I have three kiddos: Nate, who is 11; Zack, who is 8; and my two-year-old baby, Brenleigh!

I graduated from Mizzou (University of Missouri, Columbia) in 2007 with a bachelor’s in biology before attending Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri, where I graduated on December 17, 2011. I also took an internship at Atlas Institute of Health, where I fell in love with the HIO Toggle Technique of upper cervical chiropractic.

I began as an associate in Clarksville, TN, followed by my role as clinic director of a personal injury clinic in Sterling, Virginia. Then I opened my own clinic in Clarksville, TN, and did fill-in work for The Joint on the side, where I fell in love with the mission of making chiropractic affordable to everyone! After discovering this business model, I joined forces with my best friend from chiropractic school, Dr. Billie McElwrath, and we opened our first Joint location in Middletown, KY, in 2022!

My technique is an amalgamation of several methods, but I specialize in adjusting only the specific areas that need manipulation, as opposed to large, generalized high-velocity adjustments. This approach works well for anyone suffering from migraines, headaches, vertigo, tinnitus, fibromyalgia, and more.

Outside the clinic, I love movies and head to the drive-in every week with my family to watch the classics. I have a sweet tooth, so there’s always a drawer full of candy hiding in my bedroom! I love to travel and have lived in eleven different states.
